Nikon announces the Nikon AF-S Nikkor 35mm f/1.4G prime lens:
- 35mm f1.4 wide angle prime lens
- 10 elements in 7 groups with 1 asperical element
- Nano crystal coating to reduce lens flare
- weather-sealed magnesium alloy body
- Silvent Wave Motor

The German photo magazine “Foto Digital” in an article has confirmed the rumors about four new Nikon lenses:
- AF-S 85/1.4 G with Nano coating for EUR 1650 (approx. USD 2100), 10 lens elements in 9 groups
- AF-S 24-120/4 G ED VR with Nano coating for EUR 1220 (approx. USD 1550)
- AF-S 28-300/3.5-5.6 G ED VR for EUR 1000 (approx. USD 1270), 19 lens elements in 14 groups
- AF-S DX 55-300/4.5-5.6 G ED VR for EUR 420 (approx. USD 530)
